Power To Fuel

PTFPlusOne Ltd, a petrochemical technology Company based in the UK, is actively seeking to expand in the European Union and is currently in the process of identifying suitable sites for acquisition.
We are in ongoing dialogue with the agents of the owners of a refinery for its acquisition and subsequent further investment. Our specialization is very much in the ultra low sulphur marine gasoil (ULSMGO) space. Our technology includes production of ULSMGO from non-recyclable plastic waste material. Timing is relevant given the increasingly stringent Marpol/SECA legislation. PTF observes that to date, international shipping companies and cruise lines have been responding to these rules essentially by switching to marine gasoil (MGO), burning lower-sulphur fuel oil, or sticking with higher-sulphur fuel oil and adding “scrubbers” to capture most of the sulphur being emitted by their ships’ engines. From an investment perspective, these scrubbers add a huge cost to Ship owners, and run into the many millions of dollars per vessel.
PTF prefers to direct its investment into existing infrastructure, where we assure continued long term employment, and put valuable resources back into the local community. This also means that the regular requirement for fuel for agricultural use, as well as everyday transport, benefits directly from these investments.
It is clear in the current low oil-price environment, that many refiners are unwilling to make major investments in reducing fuel oil’s sulfur content by another 90%, down again from the original 0.1% legislation. Because we share the care for the marine environment with legislators PTF has been concentrating specifically on the ultra low sulphur content.
We are confident to be able to contribute to a solution for the increasing demand of ULSMGO, and we are equally confident that our acquisitions will be successful.

PTFPlusOne, a petrochemical technology Company based in the UK, is actively seeking to expand in the European Union and is currently in the process of identifying suitable sites for acquisition.
The company converts waste to renewable fuel, targeting ultra low sulphur marine fuel requirement. PTFPlusOne acquires in part or in entirety, fully up and running refineries or petrochemical plant facilities.
Protection of the marine environment is a highly legislation, and capital intensive driven business. The company is aware of the ever more stringent rules which dominate the marine fuel industry, yet is fully committed to contribute positively to the reduced emission load requirements. In addition, PTFPlusOne creates opportunities for the retention of qualified personnel, in a time when refineries are seeking to reduce staff costs.
The current crack-spreads may well be advantageous temporarily, but ultimately, most assets will be challenged, unless they re-invent their business model and become more sustainable and environmentally sound.
